Rima Al Hasan is our Country Director and Chief Sustainability Advocate for Jordan. She is also the Chair of the Country Directors' Forum.

Rima is an Assistant Professor of Operations Management and Innovation and Dean for Quality Affairs at the School of Business, University of Jordan. 

She holds a Ph.D. from Warwick Business School in the UK and is a certified trainer in Entrepreneurship. Her research has received various reputable international awards. She researches and teaches various topics including operations management, operations excellence programs, innovation management, and entrepreneurship. Her involvement in international activities including workshops and international academic conferences such as the Academy of Management annual meetings and non-academic meetings, the World Bank Youth Summit 2021, 2022, 2023.

Rima joined AlphaZULU Advocates' SDG Nugget Hour Community in 2022 and advocates for multiple causes particularly in relation to SDG 8 and SDG 9. She is passionate about innovation, paradox management, and the use of business thinking in driving the Sustainable Development Goals.
